The Process

Q. What does the process look like to book one of your in-home services?

A. Begin by booking your complimentary phone consultation where we will discuss your space, goals, problems, and more! If you would like to move forward, we will then book your in-home consultation. 


Q. What does an organizing session involve?

A. When we arrive at your home, we always begin by making sure that you are ready. You are our number one priority in making sure you feel comfortable and motivated to begin the process. The decluttering process is the next step which involves removing all items from the space and sorting into categories of like items. Next is the decision making step. This is where we will help you make those hard decisions on whether an item should be kept, tossed, or donated. Once this is finished the organizing begins. Items will be placed back into the space in a functional and beautiful manner.


Q. How much will I be involved in during the decluttering and organizing process?

A. It's all up to you! The only requirement for your involvement will be the decision making process. Other than that, you can sit back, relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea!

Q. How many hours do I have to book for a session?

A. Minimum requirement is 5 hours which is considered one session.

Q. How far in advance must I book a session?

A. It can be as soon as one week after the in-home consultation.



The Pricing

Q. Do you charge for the in-home consultation?

A. Yes. A consultation takes approximately an hour to complete. We will discuss your space in more detail, ideas, solutions, expectations, estimate of time and cost, and more.  If you decide to go through with booking an organizing session, half the fee of the consultation will go towards the overall cost.


Q. Do you charge by the hour or project?

A. By project. This is why the home consultation is so important. We will be able to give you a better estimate of cost based on your space. Additional hours may be purchased by an hourly rate.


Q. Do you offer package rates?

A. Yes. Package rates begin when you book 2 sessions (10 hours) or more.


Q. What is included in the fee?

A. The fee includes administration, project planning, product shopping, maintenance plan, two week post session follow up and labour.


Q. Are there any additional fees?

A. That is up to you! If your space requires product, then we will discuss budget and what is needed. We will never force you to purchase product.  A team of three or more organizers may be required for larger projects such as basements, garages, and unpacking projects.  An additional fee will apply. This will be discussed during the initial consultation.


Additional Questions

Q. Do you provide packing services?

A. I provide a one-room "soft", (non-breakable items), packing service to help ease the stress of your move. This service is typically paired up with the Pre-Stage Decluttering Service.  I do provide a full-home unpacking and organizing service.  An additional organizer will be required for this service.


Q. Do you re-sell items or provide donation drop-offs?

A. Services do not include re-selling items or Facebook Marketplace pickups.  I only provide donation drop offs for items that fit within the bags I provide. Furniture or larger item donation is not provided in the service.


Q. Do you provide any installation of closet organizers?

A. Services do not include any installation of any kind which include closet organizers, shelving, and drawer organizers. Recommendations can be provided.


Q. I'm not a minimalist and I'm concerned with items being thrown out but I want to feel organized, can I use your service?

A. Yes! I cater my organizing and decluttering service to fit your needs and the needs of your family. Minimalism is living without the excess and bringing to light the items that hold value, function, and beauty. It will be up to you to decide what items are considered excess which I will guide you along the way! I won't toss or donate anything without your permission.
